Thoughts about the character design of the devil

This is just a note which might lead to some questions. The design of the devil in the latest religions is quite fascinating. So we hear that the devil was the angel with the brightest light in heaven, most intelligent and smart and now looking like a goat with horns, much hair, etc. Then we hear that he is busy with seducing people to do bad things while at the same time he is in duty for punishing the bad souls in hell.

Isn´t this amazing?!

PS: And absolutely for sure the latest religions are completely free of any devilish influences (as they rule over good AND bad)!?!
